Overview

Forge is a free workout tracking app for Android. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost none).

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

• No account registration required
• No email, name, or personal identifiers collected
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No advertising SDKs
• No cookies or device fingerprinting

Data Stored on Your Device

Forge stores your workout data (exercises, sets, reps, weights, routines, personal records) locally on your device using an on-device database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it using the app’s export/share feature.

Network Access

Forge connects to the internet for two purposes only:

1. Exercise database: We fetch exercise information (names, descriptions, images) from the public wger.de API. No user data is sent in these requests.
2. In-app purchases: Tip jar purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. No payment information ever touches our servers or the app itself.

Third-Party Services

• Google Play Billing: Processes optional tip purchases. Governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
• wger.de API: Public exercise database. No user data is shared with this service.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. We have no servers. We have no database of users.

Data Deletion

All your data is stored locally on your device. To delete all data, simply uninstall the app.

Children’s Privacy

Forge does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no social features, no user-generated content, and no way to communicate with others.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
